The PSA Network Launches the Inaugural Technician Bootcamp to Advance Security Industry Workforce Development

Technician-focused training and certification experience will bring PSA members and technology partners together for hands-on learning, professional development and networking.

Westminster, Colo. (July 24, 2026) - The PSA Network (PSA), the world’s largest consortium of professional systems integrators, today announced the launch of its inaugural PSA Technician Bootcamp, a new technician-focused training and certification experience taking place Sept. 21-25, 2026, in Westminster, Colorado. Designed to strengthen the future of the security and systems integration workforce, the bootcamp will bring together PSA member technicians and the network's premier technology partners for immersive, partner-led certification courses, hands-on learning and valuable peer networking.

Curated with flexibility in mind, the bootcamp will feature a modular experience that allows attendees to customize their participation based on their individual certification goals and professional development needs. Through a variety of certification opportunities and hands-on educational experiences, technicians can expand their technical expertise and build skills that support long-term career growth.

“Technicians are at the heart of our industry, and investing in their development is essential to building a strong and sustainable future for security and systems integration,” said Matt Barnette, president and CEO of PSA. “The PSA Technician Bootcamp creates a unique opportunity for technicians to learn directly from leading technology partners, connect with their peers and take ownership of their professional development in a way that aligns with their individual goals.”

Beyond certifications, the PSA Technician Bootcamp is designed to create ongoing opportunities for collaboration and industry engagement through networking events, partner activations, happy hours and other activities focused on strengthening relationships across the PSA Network. By connecting technicians with peers and technology partners, the experience supports both individual career growth and continued success of PSA member companies.

“The future of our industry depends on creating meaningful opportunities for technicians to grow, connect and advance,” said Mary O’Sullivan, head of learning and development at PSA. “The Technician Bootcamp is designed to meet technicians where they are in their careers while giving them the tools, education and relationships they need to continue moving forward.”
