The PSA TEC Fellowship Program offers an all-expenses-paid opportunity for next-generation leaders from PSA owner and member companies to attend TEC. This year, five fellows attended TEC 2026 in Denver, Colorado.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my experience as a 2026 PSA TEC Fellow. Receiving this award was an incredible milestone for me, providing a meaningful opportunity to further my professional growth while deepening my involvement with PSA and the broader security community.

Attending PSA TEC was an extremely valuable experience. It allowed me to connect in person with members of my PSA committee group, strengthen existing relationships and build new ones. Beyond my own organization, I gained visibility into the challenges and successes of other companies across the industry. These conversations provided perspective, reinforced common goals and sparked ideas that I can bring back to my team.

What stood out most to me during the event was the candor, friendliness and spirit of collaboration among attendees. Even though many organizations operate in competitive spaces, there was a genuine sense of camaraderie and shared purpose. Everyone was approachable, open to discussion and willing to exchange insights across a wide range of topics. That level of transparency and engagement is something that truly sets PSA apart.

The Fellowship process itself was equally impressive. From the application through to the event experience, it was clear that a significant amount of thought and care went into ensuring Fellows felt supported. The PSA team did an outstanding job organizing travel, logistics and onboarding, allowing me to focus fully on the experience. I felt welcomed, prepared and well-connected from the start.

The value of the PSA TEC Fellowship cannot be overstated. It not only makes attendance at a premier industry event possible but also fosters long term engagement within the PSA community. It serves as a catalyst for deeper involvement, encouraging Fellows to continue participating in peer groups, collaborative discussions and ongoing learning opportunities.

I would highly recommend that anyone interested in advancing within the security industry become involved with PSA peer groups and the broader community. The natural progression of that involvement is attending PSA TEC—whether through a Fellowship or otherwise—to fully experience the culture, collaboration and value that PSA provides. It was an impactful experience for me and one that I will continue to build on moving forward.
