From Connections to Collaboration: How TEC 2026 Exceeded My Expectations

The PSA TEC Fellowship Program offers an all-expenses-paid opportunity for next-generation leaders from PSA owner and member companies to attend TEC. This year, five fellows attended TEC 2026 in Denver, Colorado.

I want to thank PSA for allowing me to be a Fellow. There is no way to overstate the amount of valuable insight, connections and opportunities that were presented to me during my time at TEC 2026. I took classes, listened to multiple disciplines from my industry, gave talks and provided information from areas I may not have previously had access to. I gained new and different perspectives from collaborators and competitors alike.

My fellowship allowed me the opportunity to meet people face to face even from within my own company. I was able to network and even court new committee members.

I felt heard by peers that attended TEC and was able to have more in-depth conversations with people from my committee and even vendors/suppliers. The time we spent at the end of TEC where we shared ideas that we would love to see explored was awesome.

Because I am an extrovert, I cannot stress enough, the mixers were amazing for meeting and getting to know folks within the industry. I love that I was able to speak directly with presenters/panelists and that people who attended my panel came and spoke directly to me because they found value in what was shared – including “the energy and passion you have for your profession - it made me feel excited and ready to do this,” which I know can be hard to feel via a Teams meeting or one-off interaction at a smaller scale event. The level of communication that was shared during TEC is something that will stick with me for some time.

Everything that I wanted to obtain from TEC that I stated in my application was fulfilled several times over.
