Andrew Lanning | Chairman
Co-Founder | Integrated Security Technologies
Andrew Lanning has 30 years of computer and electronic systems experience, beginning with COBOL and FORTRAN programming back in 1981.
He is a combat-action veteran, having maintained radar and missile systems aboard the USS Joseph Strauss from 1986-1989. The Strauss was decommissioned in 1989 and Andrew served with the military police at the now-closed Barber’s Point Naval Air Station in Hawaii from 1990-93.
Andrew entered the commercial security industry in 1994 and co-founded Integrated Security Technologies (IST) in Honolulu, with his wife Christine, in 1998. IST as it is frequently called, specifies and delivers electronic security solutions for DOD, Municipal Government, and nearly all commercial vertical markets throughout Hawaii and the Pacific theater. Andrew double majored in psychology and anthropology at the University of Hawaii and earned his Master’s in Communication from Hawaii Pacific University. These days his hobbies are limited to a single word, Ironman.
Wayne Smith, CISSP, CISM | Vice Chairman

Wayne Smith is President of Tech Systems, Inc. In his role, Smith leads this team in providing service-centric and converged security solutions to end users and Fortune 500 companies. He provides clients and prospects with the essential information, technology, and training to manage the ever-increasing convergence of logical and physical security solutions. Smith currently holds the following certifications; Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP), and various Cisco certifications.
Mr. Smith has over 23 years of experience in the IT and security industry. Prior to Tech Systems he spent thirteen years with Synovus Financial Corporation and TSYS in Columbus, GA where he held the position of Director of Information Security for Total System Services and Vice President, Facilities Technology for Synovus. Prior to that time, he was the Assistant Vice President, Security Systems Manager. He brings a wealth of experience in the design and implementation of physical and logical security systems. Prior to working with Synovus, Smith was a Military Police Officer with the United States Army.
Smith received his Bachelor’s degree from Columbus State University and his MBA from Kennesaw State University.
Information Security Analyst | CM3 Building Solutions, Inc.
Matt Boehm has more than 20 years of experience in Information Technology and Information Security on small to medium business and government systems.
An Information Security Analyst with CM3 Building Solutions Inc. in Fort Washington, Pa., Matt provides his clients with Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing Services in addition to Information Security Consulting. He also assists small and medium-sized organizations in the development of Incident Response, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning.
He has extensive experience in planning, developing and deploying secure and robust network, firewall and Information Security solutions and is an enthusiastic advocate for Information Security best practices and culture.
Among his many certs, Matt holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
When he’s not behind the computer screen, Matt can be heard communicating on the world-wide airwaves as an Extra Class Amateur (“ham”) Radio Operator in his spare time.

Mr. Cronin is a 32-year security industry veteran. In his role as Partner at Atrion Networking, his focus is on Business and Partner Relationship Development across converging industries and technologies (including security, AV, voice, networking, storage, applications and managed services). Paul shares his industry insight as a Director on the CompTIA, NSCA, IT Careers Foundation Boards and PSA Educational Advisory Council.
Paul shares his experiences as a columnist for SDM and contributor to other industry periodicals. He is a frequent presenter at PSA Tec.
Paul is a Leadership Challenge Workshop Master facilitator. He brings together client executives, staff, vendors, industry professionals and others for an incredible experimental learning experience that enables them to lead in the most difficult of times.
Founder and CEO | IDmachines
Salvatore (Sal) D’Agostino is the founder and CEO of IDmachines, LLC, a provider of technical automation product and services including the Eidola platform and tools for security professionals. During the last 30 years Sal’s customer and project experience includes EZPass and other electronic toll collection systems and numerous industrial supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and automation applications. Sal helped develop and deploy the U.S. Capitol and Pentagon physical security systems and the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential infrastructure for the federal government. Sal and IDmachines have in the past and in an ongoing basis provide identity, credential, access control and intelligent critical infrastructure and applications for global enterprises and governments. IDmachines’ customers include end-users, system integrators and equipment and software suppliers.
Sal is active in industry and is currently the Chairman of the Board and President of the IDESG, Inc. the public private organization responsible for implementing the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC). Sal is active in the Kantara Initiative, which provides trust services, including certifications for the US Federal Identity Credentialing and Access Management initiatives, and connected life innovation. Sal chairs both its Leadership Council and its Identity Relationship Management Working Group and is a member of the Board of Trustees; he is also a member of its User Managed Access Working Group. He also holds a number of leadership positions in other industry trade organizations and standards activities involving identity, credentialing, access control, the internet of things and physical security standards, including the OIX, the Smart Card Alliance, the Security Industry Association and ASIS International.
President | New Era Associates, LLC
Dan Dunkel is currently the President of New Era Associates, LLC here his security convergence consulting practice integrated physical security solutions, IT infrastructure deployments, and cybersecurity countermeasures. He brings 30 years of sales experience and business partnerships to driving revenues across strategic channels and multiple industries. Most recently, Dan was Vice President, Strategic Partners for Eagle Eye Networks, a cloud based VMS & access control start up based in Austin, Texas.
Prior to NEA, Dunkel spent 20 years in high technology sales (Enterprise software, storage, networking), where he held Vice President Sales responsibilities at both Fortune 500 organizations (Nortel Networks), and start up firms (Auspex Systems), establishing $50M plus revenue operations from the ground up in both organizations. He is a subject matter expert in risk management for the Security Executive Council, and a member of the Cyber Security Advisory Board for the Security Industry Association. Dan also wrote a monthly column for SDM Magazine for 7 years, promoting integrator sales strategies, and is a current contributing writer for Security Magazine.

David graduated from the University of Colorado in 1992 and began his professional career as a banker working for two community banks in Trust, Audit, Mortgage Lending, and Commercial Lending. Working for a closely held community bank gave David exposure to and experience with all facets of the bank’s operations and management including Asset & Liability Management, compliance, and Information Technology.
In 2000 David transitioned from banking to IT and in 2001 he co-founded Certified Computer Solutions when he recognized an opportunity to improve the level of IT services available to small and medium sized businesses in Colorado. In 2010 David founded Go West IT to focus on managed service offerings, including managed security, to small and medium sized businesses. David helped to develop and he participates in IT Steering Committees for many Go West IT customers including a number of community banks and credit unions.
David has a passion for helping organizations and their people understand where and how they can utilize technology to achieve objectives. He believes that technology is most valuable when it can be harnessed to improve the lives of the individuals who use it to pursue excellence.
Vice President of Technology | Aronson Security Group (ASG)
Scott Schmidt has over 30 years of security and IT experience holding several technical and management positions in the security & IT industry.
He founded SWS Integration (SWS), a Microsoft Certified Partner Professional Services Company that helped pioneer the change in aligning physical security IT with corporate IT. His experience spans Business Process Management, Enterprise Security Architecture, Information integration and Application development. Prior to joining ASG, Scott spent 10 years as an owner and Senior Partner of a Professional Services firm specializing in professional services for the physical security industry.
Scott is the Vice President of Technology at ASG. Scott’s key role is to lead a team in the identification of technologies that can create measurable value to the client’s business as well as mitigating its risk. ASG believes its clients must receive technology solutions that are adaptable, scalable, and sustainable over time.
Scott’s team leads and directs all Advanced Integration Services (AIS) including but not limited to Physical Access Control, Video Management Systems, Platform and Application Integration, SOC (Security Operations Center) Design and Delivery and Enterprise Architecture. AIS conducts technology assessment practices that determine the architecture of complex security solutions. His team is also responsible for leading the benchmarking of emerging technologies . This directs ASG consulting practices in the recommendation of appropriate solutions. Clients are assured of quality solutions that are aligned with their organizational needs and meet evolving cyber security requirements.
President/Chief Executive Officer | SecureXperts
Mr. Washington is responsible for implementing secure integrated physical and logical enterprise infrastructures for Federal, State and enterprise commercial environments. He assists government and commercial organizations in redesigning information architectures to incorporate next generation adaptive technologies such cloud computing, virtualized infrastructures, and convergent physical and integrated logical security platforms incorporating smart-card technologies, public/private key encryption, biometrics, and single-sign on user authentication methodologies to mitigate today’s relevant cyber security risks. He regularly advises the security community at large on insider threat management, such as using structured and independent verification using next generation adaptive methodologies and strategies to identify and mitigate human and environmental threats to information and communication systems. He has served as contract instructor for the DHS Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in internet investigations and computer forensics, and currently developing best practices for physical and logical security of federally owned facilities.
Attorney; Risk Management and Cyber Security Consultant | Titan Info Security Group
Mr. Willson is a 20 year Army veteran and a retired Army JAG officer. He is a licensed attorney in NY, CT and CO. His focus is risk management, cyber security, reputation protection and the law. He assists companies seeking to lower the risk of a cyber-incident/breach, reduce and/or eliminate the liability associated with loss or theft of information, and protect their reputation, through risk identification, assessment, management, policies and improving cyber security. He also assists companies with difficult and unique legal/ Cyber security issues. He holds the CISSP & Security + certifications and has two LLM’s in International Law and in Intellectual Property law. In addition to over eight years of litigation, he provided legal advice in computer network operations, information security and international and operational law, and intelligence oversight, to the DoD, NSA, the Army, various combatant commands, and other agencies, and was the legal advisor to the IOTC, NASS, then JFCC-NW (now CYBERCOM), providing legal advice directly to Gen Hayden and then GEN Alexander.
Bill Bozeman, CPP

Bill Bozeman is president and CEO of PSA Security Network, the world’s largest electronic security cooperative. PSA integrators are responsible for over $2 billion dollars of electronic security and life safety installations.
Mr. Bozeman has 35 years of experience in the security systems integration business and with a successful track record in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. He has served as president of Delta Audio-Visual Security, president of Dictograph Alarm Systems Inc. and vice president of strategic alliances for Pinkerton Systems Integration.
Mr. Bozeman attended Louisiana State University and graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1975. He also qualified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) with the American Society for Industrial Security. In addition, Mr. Bozeman holds Level III certification in Homeland Security.
Throughout his career, Mr. Bozeman has directed sophisticated electronic security projects for corporate America, the U.S. government, and private institutions.
Mr. Bozeman is a member of the Security Integration Hall of Fame, a lifetime achievement award that recognizes those individuals whose distinguished careers have helped shape the electronic security industry. Mr. Bozeman was recognized as one of the 25 Most Influential Security Executives and received the Paul Marcus award, presented to individuals that provide consistent leadership and direction to the PSA Security Network. In 2013, Mr. Bozeman received the George Lippert memorial award, recognizing outstanding contributions to the Security Industry Association (SIA).
