Five Minutes with Peggy Metz

Get to know us a little better! Meet Peggy Metz, Director of Administration, Audio-Visual


Describe your job in a couple of sentences

My job involves administrative support for the USAV executive team, event planning, purchase reporting, monthly reconciliations, new dealer vetting and set up, dealer and manufacturer relations.

How long have you worked for PSA?

I’ve been at PSA for 6 weeks and was with USAV for about a year prior.

Can you share a little bit of information about your professional background?

I have over 18 years of experience and progressive expertise in sales, customer relations, and office administration.  I spent almost 15 years at Sounds True, a multimedia publishing company and more recently supported the team at JumpNrope, the world leader in jump rope training and equipment.

As one of PSA’s newest employees, what are you enjoying most about working here?

The office environment is very welcoming and has a “happy feel.” I am also very excited about and looking forward to getting to know and understand the security industry.

What do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy hiking the Colorado trails, perfecting my CrossFit training, snowboarding with friends, and spinning class.  I also cherish the joy of quiet time, whether it is curling up with a good book, a movie, or the peaceful pleasure of my own contemplation.

Any fun or interesting facts about yourself that you want to add?

I received a scholarship to play basketball in College.  Have traveled to India twice and attended a 3 day teaching with the Dalai Lama in Milan, Italy.
